The founder and president of her own law firm, South Florida lawyer Lisa Lullove Selinger has represented individuals and corporations for nearly 20 years throughout the state of Florida. Ms. Selinger is an experienced litigator and has extensive courtroom experience, including first- and second-chair trial experience. Ms. Selinger has a varied civil practice, including the representation of individuals and corporations in the areas of homeowners insurance, personal injury, small business matters, commercial litigation, and trusts and estates.

Ms. Selinger completed her undergraduate education at the University of Miami, from where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1995. She worked in social work and pursued her Master’s in Social Work in 1998, graduating from Barry University in 1998. Ms. Selinger decided her talents could best be used to fight for the rights of businesses and individuals, so she commenced her legal education at the University of Miami School of Law. She graduated with her Juris Doctor in 2002.

After she graduated from law school, Ms. Selinger was subsequently admitted to practice law before all of the state courts of Florida and Illinois. She is also admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Ms. Selinger’s previous experience working as a social worker and holding a Master’s in Social Work has informed her approach to how she provides legal representation to her clients. Her past social work experience allows Ms. Selinger to empathize with her clients as they work through their unique issues and help them to identify and pursue strategic legal solutions and remedies to resolve their problems favorably. She is a well-rounded civil litigation attorney with substantial experience inside and outside of the courtroom and has successfully negotiated thousands of settlements on behalf of the individuals and corporations she has represented. Ms. Selinger is a zealous advocate for her clients and works tirelessly to secure the most favorable outcomes possible on their behalf.

Ms. Selinger brings extensive legal experience to her practice at the Law Office of Lisa Selinger, including previous work at large law firms. In her previous work at a large firm, Ms. Selinger focused on first-party property insurance defense, where she aggressively defended against claims brought against insurance companies. This experience helped her to understand how insurance companies operate and how to evaluate claims and develop smart litigation strategies.

She also worked as an in-house counsel for one of the largest automobile insurers in the U.S. During her work there, she aggressively defended injury claims brought against the company’s insureds. Learning the strategies used by insurance companies to defend against claims has provided Ms. Selinger with invaluable insight and experience that she uses to provide zealous advocacy for her clients so that she can help them obtain the best possible results. Ms. Selinger always places her clients’ legal interests firsts and works hard to provide them with highly skilled and knowledgeable representation at all times.

Ms. Selinger is dedicated to the legal profession and is actively involved in multiple professional organizations. She is an active member of the South Palm Beach County Florida Association of Women Lawyers, for which she served as president from 2021 to 2022. She is also a member of the South Beach County Bar Association and the Craig S. Barnard American Inn of Court. Ms. Selinger previously served as a member of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee and served as its chair in 2018. Through her memberships and active involvement in legal organizations, Ms. Selinger is able to network with other attorneys in the legal community so that she can learn new strategies and continue to grow professionally. She also regularly completes continuing education units to keep abreast of the latest changes in the statutory and case law that could affect her clients.

Outside of work, Ms. Selinger is focused on her family and her health. Dedicated to her family, Ms. Selinger enjoys spending time with her husband, teen daughter, and two dogs. She has several hobbies that she enjoys, including working out, running, and cycling. Ms. Selinger also enjoys traveling with her family and exploring the world and what it has to offer.
